Subaru WRX 2013 is bringing a lot of changes to itself. Name, engine, fuel consumption and almost everything is new in Subaru WRX 2013. Subaru has also decided to change the name of this hit model. “Impreza” will be removed from the name plate of Subaru WRX 2013. However, it will be engineered from the same platform. Subaru wants to separate the small daily travelling car “Impreza” from rally racing tough cars by the name of WRX. The basic idea behind giving WRX its own name is to define two different car zones for Subaru. Subaru WRX 2013 will have shorter wheelbase along with lighter suspension. Unique suspension geometry is also expected to be installed for higher performance handling of the car.
The new Subaru WRX 2013 has a lot of additions from the engineering point of view. The engineers at Subaru have been asked to put together such components which induce the performance of the car in the terms of comfortable drive, better fuel consumption and more power. Subaru WRX 2013 will have a 2.0 liter boxer turbo charged cylinder engine. It will enable the car to produce more power than the existing model. The new model is expected to generate 270 horsepower. Subaru WRX 2013 is also expected to lose weight which will enable the car to show better fuel consumption. The existing model makes 25mpg highway and 19 mpg city. Subaru WRX 2013 will be an all-wheel drive along a six speed manual transmission.
Subaru WRX 2013 is expected to launch at the beginning of 2013. Los Angeles auto show might be the time when Subaru introduces WRX 2013.
